The Talent Academy

Empowering bi-cultural youth

The Talent Academy, a transformative project initiated by Expat Management Group’s Co-Founder Nihat Kurt in collaboration with The Present100 - seeks to address the unequal opportunities faced by bicultural youth during critical transitional years. Born out of a collective vision for equality, helpfulness, connection, entrepreneurship and education, The Talent Academy aims to empower talented young individuals from migrant communities, fostering economic independence, education, and inspiration.

The Talent Academy addresses the challenges faced by bicultural youth during the pivotal transition from high school to further studies and employment. Focusing on individuals with diplomas allowing access to HBO and University in their first or second years of studies, the project recognizes the potential for a great career during these formative years.

The overarching goal is to help these young individuals pursue their dreams and potential, by providing training, mentorship in entrepreneurship, exposure to role models, and the development of professional and social network, ultimately increasing their employment prospects.

By empowering bicultural youth during these critical transitional years, The Talent Academy aims to break the cycle of high dropout rates and set the stage for a more equitable and entrepreneurial future. The project reflects Expat Management Group’s and The Present100's commitment to education and entrepreneurship and creating positive change within the community.

My personal mission is to empower migrant communities, unlocking their potential through The Talent Academy. I believe that every individual, regardless of their background, deserves a chance to thrive. This initiative is not just a project; it's a personal commitment to fostering opportunities and realizing dreams within a community that holds immense talent and promise.Nihat Kurt
