US immigration update in light of COVID-19

The COVID-19 Pandemic has dramatically impacted U.S. immigration. While most individuals in the U.S. are able to maintain authorization to remain in the country, many foreign nationals are struggling to maintain authorization to work and those outside the U.S. are delayed in entering the U.S.

With the current administration’s penchant for using executive orders to change immigration policy, it is important to remain aware of current restrictions in order to properly assess a given immigration situation. Fortunately, efforts to return the economy and government functionality are underway and it is hoped that there will be future easing of restrictions rather than further impediments to global migration.
