Prisoner Escape launches online experience
Real Life Gaming, the company behind the colossal escape experience / interactive theatre production Prison Escape has launched an online version aptly named Prison Escape Online.
The moment the Dutch government announced a prohibition on physical events, Real Life Gaming’s regular events such as the Prison Escape in the dome prison in Breda and in the Kruisberg prison in Doetinchem, were put on ‘temporary lockdown’ due to COVID-19 regulations. Within a few days of the announcement a small team of creatives started developing a new format so Prison Escape could continue during the Corona crisis.
During Prison Escape Online you must infiltrate the prison’s security systems together with your team and establish a live camera and intercom feed to interact with real actors on site. Unlike their regular (physical events) the goal is not to escape the prison yourself, but to help free Yuri Koblenko, a man sentenced to prison for a crime he did not commit.
You can experience Prison Escape Online with a team of max 7 people from the comfort of your own home. All you need is a stable internet connection, a PC or laptop, a webcam, headphones, a microphone and last but not least, an original disguise!
