I moved from Groningen to Amsterdam
What made you decide to move to the Netherlands?
I had a work opportunity and decided to move.
How did you find the transition to living in a foreign country?
It was quite easy given that I’ve been preparing for it for a long time.
What do you find typically Dutch?
Bitterballen!
What has been the best part of your move?
I would say that the best part has been moving to a larger city with a lot of people and a bigger international environment.
What has been the hardest aspect of your expat experience so far?
I would say creating social circles after finishing my university years has been the hardest aspect.
What would you have done differently?
I would’ve moved from Groningen to Amsterdam earlier.
