This winter the Museumplein in Amsterdam is transformed into a winter wonderland. The large pond now functions as an ice rink until the 22nd of January. Everyone is welcome to come and skate in the view of the Rijksmuseum. You can bring you own ice skates, or rent them for 2 hours for € 6,50 (for size 28 – 50). After skating it is possible to have a hot cocoa or mulled wine, or something to eat at the cozy bistro. From mid-December, there will also be an Ice Village Christmas Market to browse and get typical festive Dutch snacks like oliebollen and poffertjes.
Please keep in mind that a covid entry pass (personal QR-code) is mandatory for everyone over 13 years.
