What made you decide to move to the Netherlands?

In August 2019, My boss asked me if I would like to move to Netherlands to assume a new role. I did not even think before accepting his offer as Netherlands has always been my “Dream Country”

The straightforward attitude of people here

What do you find typically Dutch?

Bicycles, Bicycles and lots of Bicycles!!

 If you were to rate your complete move, what would the rating be?

What would you have done differently?

I would have packed less as there is nothing you cannot get here especially things like utensils, crockery etc.

What has been the best part of your move?

The best part by far has been the way Government offices work here. Very efficient and speedy

Any last tips and tricks?

Start the house hunt before you arrive in The Netherlands as expat housing is always in high demand here compared to the supply. Also, Buy winter wear from Netherlands rather than bringing in from your home country if you are from tropical countries like India
