Starting out at an international moving company, Tobias learned the Global Mobility business from scratch. Helping Expatriates with this emotional part of the relocation process, aroused his interest to learn more about all aspects of sending people abroad. In a global relocation management company, Tobias quickly learned how to integrate different service types for international assignees and fell in love with immigration services.
Following this, he focused on the compliance part of the international workforce and how important consular visa services are as part of immigration. The Posted Worker Directive was integrated into global business traveler policies, and he was a key part of developing a web-based tool to manage these European postings efficiently as part of a self-service for business travelers. The online tool integrated the complete service portfolio for international business travelers, international assignees, or new hires, and it made it possible to handle many thousand requests per month for a German market leader in this area.
As of the beginning of 2023, Tobias is responsible for Expat Management Group’s German practice. His extensive industry network and experience help us expand our services and service portfolio to this country.
Tobias studied Business Administration while working and acquired an MBA degree. Besides work, he loves to spend time with his family and friends and stay up to date with the latest start-up and tech news.
