Dillon is a Portuguese-American graduate of the University of Groningen where he completed an LL.B in International and European Law and an LL.M in International Human Rights Law. He grew up in Massachusetts and is quite obnoxious about it.

During his studies he participated in a number of organizations, including SIB-Groningen and Amnesty International Student Group Groningen, and worked as a Research Assistant where he aided the Administrative Law department with research into International Refugee Law. Inspired by his work and his master’s thesis in international migration law, he joined Expat Management Group’s Immigration team.

In his spare time he is an avid fan of all things science fiction and fantasy, whether they come in the form of books, movies or games.

He speaks English, Portuguese, some Dutch, and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
